New carpet! the bathroom could use a refresh, but the lovely toiletries made up for it. breakfast was good, though a little help would improve the service. the location was perfect with parking just outside and shops nearby.

Had a great time with friends exploring the area! We visited a lovely local pub for dinner and enjoyed breathtaking walks at the nearby Lake District. Good value for the price
We stayed for 4 nights in a standard family room and it was decent for what we needed. The room had a kettle for tea and coffee, but you had to ask for refills, which was a bit annoying. The breakfast was solid, but it seemed like one person was doing all the work. a bit more help would be great! The bathroom could use an update, though.

Clean and comfortable accommodations were a highlight during the stay. The staff provided excellent assistance for mobility needs, demonstrating thoughtful service. the property felt somewhat tired, and some facilities could use an upgrade. Breakfast looked appealing, but I didn't partake this time. Being dog friendly is a definite plus, attracting pet owners.
